Collect Personhood Petition Signatures at Republican Presidential Events

ProLife Personhood Petitioning Vero Beach Prayer Breakfast

Personhood Petitioning

To get the new Florida ProLife Personhood Amendment on the ballot in 2014, we need to collect nearly 700,000 valid petition signed. To do that we need your help to petition among your family, friends, and neighbors, at your church, at Christian events, at political events, and at other public events, and with Republican Presidential candidates in Florida for the Presidential Preference Primary, prolifers have an excellent opportunity to collect signatures for the new Florida ProLife Personhood Amendment Petition.

Whether you’re Republican, Democrat, or Independent, we encourage you to petition at these events. Why? Because at similar events in the past, petitioners have been able to collect signatures from 80% – 90% of the attendees approached for a signature. Since candidates are visiting many cities throughout Florida, we should be able to collect signatures from Florida voters across the state. By petitioning at these events, prolife petitioners can easily collect 100 to several hundred petition signatures in as short as an hour or two, so look for the event nearest you to help us reach every region, every county, every city for life!

Since candidates Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum sign the personhood pledge, and Ron Paul sign the personhood pledge with an addendum, and Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, and Rick Santorum all participated in the personhood USA pro-life presidential forum in South Carolina, attending these events will not only give you the opportunity to petition for life, but also to ask the candidates prolife questions. Read the Personhood Republican Presidential Candidate Pledge here and watch the ProLife Presidential Forum in its entirety here.

South Carolina ProLife Presidential Forum Participants

The Republican debate in Jacksonville this Thursday, will present a unique environment where petitioners can gather several hundred signatures in as little as an hour as attendees wait in line to enter. Personhood USA and Personhood Florida will also host prolife forum(s) in Florida similar to the one in South Carolina. (Stay tuned for details!)

To find out which candidates are coming to your area, contact your county’s Republican Executive Committee (REC) headquarters, check with your local newspaper, and/or do Google and Facebook searches. Since you have your best success collecting petition signatures prior to the event, arrive at the events early to collect the most signatures.

While petitioning, be on the lookout for potential volunteers. Have a volunteer sign-up sheet ready to collect names and contact information of pro-lifers who want to help end abortion in Florida.

We encourage you to attend events from all candidates, even those that aren’t prolife. Report back to us with the results including the event attended and the percentage of signatures you received from those you approached. If we get enough data, we may be able to determine which candidate’s supporters are the most prolife.

So what are you waiting for?

First Ever National Presidential Pro-Life, Pro-Personhood Forum

Dear Pro-Life Friends,

We are excited to announce the first ever Presidential Pro-Life Forum, a national tele-town hall and radio simulcast presented by Personhood USA in partnership with other national pro-life organizations on Tuesday, December 27, 9:00 – 10:30 pm EST (8:00 – 9:30 pm CST).

Presidential ProLife Forum Participants

Presidential ProLife Forum

All Presidential candidates have been invited to participate, and, as of this moment, Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum, and Rick Perry are confirmed.

We would like to invite you to attend this 90-minute town hall conference call featuring the Presidential candidates discussing their views on right to life issues.

Callers will have the opportunity to ask questions of the Presidential candidates and to give instant feedback to thoughts and ideas shared. The program will also be heard live on Steve Deace’s nationally-syndicated radio show on the Salem Network.

This is a great opportunity to participate in an up close and personal evening with our Presidential candidates as they ask to be your advocate for life. It is critical that the pro-life community rigorously examine the pro-life credentials and convictions of our candidates BEFORE we select a nominee. With the Iowa caucus a week away, this is YOUR opportunity to ask the tough questions and make sure that our nominee is the strongest pro-life advocate.

Please view this page and fill out the form at the bottom, and make sure to include your best phone number and we will contact you on Tuesday, December 27, 9:00 – 10:30 pm EST (8:00 – 9:30 pm CST).

We look forward to an engaging evening with you and the Presidential candidates.

Merry Christmas from Sanctity of Human Life of the Treasure Coast, Every Baby is a Gift from God

Living Nativity Indian River Presbyterian Church Fort Pierce FL 2010

Living Nativity

At this time of year, we remember the Christ child. Conceived by an unwed young girl and born in a lowly manger, the circumstances of his conception and birth could easily be described a crisis pregnancy, yet Jesus was and is the greatest gift of all.

Every child is a gift from God, regardless the circumstances surround her conception and birth. While not every child is planned or comes under perfect circumstances, every child is a blessing, for every child bears God’s image reminding us of how valuable we are to Him! How His heart must break when we despise His gift and seek abortion to kill the precious gift of God in the womb.

Our founding fathers recognized that “all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights among which are life…” As such each human has distinct value based not on what he or she has or can accomplish but on the value God places on each of us as His image bearers.

At Personhood FL, we are working on several projects to restore the value of every innocent human life, including unborn children, the elderly, and the disabled. To accomplish this, we need your help to sign, promote, and distribute the Florida ProLife Personhood Amendment Petition. This amendment defines as persons “all human beings, irrespective of age, race, sex, health, function, or condition of dependency, including unborn children at every stage of their biological development regardless of the method of creation.” Persons already have the right to life recognized in both the Florida and US constitutions. Establishing personhood status for all humans will end abortion and protect every innocent human life! We are asking all pastors in the state of Florida to preach a prolife sermon and collect signatures for the new Florida ProLife Personhood Amendment Petition Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, January 22.

We also need your participation in the second annual Treasure Coast March for Life Saturday, January 21 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM. Last year, the march was attended by several Catholic Priests, Protestant Pastors, the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree, Diacees of Palm Beach Respect Life Coordinator Don Kazimir, Saint Lucie County Commissioner Tod Mowery, several prolife organizations, and over 300 prolife individuals from Brevard to Palm Beach County. This year’s celebration will be even bigger!

Will you join me at this year’s March for Life? Will you volunteer to print and distribute copies of the petition to your family, friends, neighbors, church members, etc? Will your church print prolife petitions for their members to sign Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, January 22? Do you know a prolife printer who is willing to print large quantities of the petition at a reduced cost or no cost? Are you willing to donate to help Personhood FL print and distribute petitions to every county in Florida?

We need your help now to help print and distribute the new Florida ProLife Personhood Amendment Petition. Can we count on your help? Please take a few moments to visit the following site to let us know how you would like to help distribute the new petition.

Below is a short bio of the star performing On Sunday, November 13th at 2:00 p.m., in the Holy Family Sunday Afternoon Concert Series  “A Sentimental Journey to the Music of WWII”.

Mark Green plays one of the meanest trumpets this side of New Orleans…You are swept away by the purity and magnificence of his sound!” – Sebastian Sun, 2006

Mark Green’s musical career began in NYC, where he performed on stage on Broadway, as well as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Over the years, his trumpet accompanied some of the world’s most noted musical celebrities.

Green moved to Florida in 1988 and immediately formed several different musical groups, including the “Rowdy Roosters Dixieland Band,” and a 17pc. Big Band called “For Dancers Only.” Mark currently stars in The Coffee Beans, which can be heard many Friday nights at Cobb’s Landing in Ft. Pierce. He produced a hit CD in 2006 called “A Tribute to Satchmo.” This was based on his popular mixed media show honoring his long time idol, Louis Armstrong. Mark also performs a mixed-media tribute to Duke Ellington, and this coming January 8, he’ll be presenting “A Tribute to Benny Goodman” with his big band, For Dancers Only, on the main stage of the Sunrise Theater in Ft. Pierce.

Among his other lifetime endeavors, Mark was an army bugler for 6 years during the Vietnam era so he really is a “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy”. He states, “I was thrilled to be asked to present a nostalgic look at the great music of WWII, the music that defined ‘The Greatest Generation.”
