A protest against $500,000 of St. Lucie County taxpayers money going to Planned Parenthood.

40 Days for Life Planned Parenthood Abortion ProLife

Abortion is Big Business

We need 50 people next Thursday morning, March 10, at 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. (when the Children’s Service Council meeting starts) to bring signs and spread out in front of their office building, across from the south entrance to Mets stadium, on University Ave.
We hope to have people with signs on Peacock, University, and California, so that when the CSC members come to their meeting that morning, they will get the message. It’s not until their September budget meeting that the issue will be decided,  but we hope to have some impact ahead of that time, by protesting at their meeting each month. We also plan to protest at several county commission meetings regarding this huge budget item during a time when St. Lucie county is trying to cut  the county budget.

Two members of the St. Lucie County Children’s Service Council are Paula Lewis, County Commissioner and Kathryn Hensley, County School Board member, and are both up for re-election in 2012. Over the last decade they have voted to give over $3 million tax dollars from the CSC to Planned Parenthood to fund a variety of immoral programs.

Some sign ideas:    (make very large signs so they can be read from the road – Michaels’, Staples, & Walmart have  foam board which works well)

  • Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the U.S.
  • Planned Parenthood Supports Sex Trafficking
  • Go to www.exposeplannedparenthood.com to see videos
  • Why are SLC taxpayers giving Planned Parenthood $500,000 each year?
  • No more of our taxpayer money going to Planned Parenthood
  • No more tax funding for PP
  • $1/2 million of our local taxes go to Planned Parenthood each year
  • CSCSLC – stop funding Planned Parenthood
  • Planned Parenthood sex trafficking videos on www.exposeplannedparenthood.com

If anyone has any questions, please email me or call me at 772-489-7745 or my cell 772-579-9091. Thanks so much for your effort in joining us for just one hour!

CALL TO ACTION: Email St. Lucie officials who give your tax dollars to Planned Parenthood

Even as the U.S. House voted this week to de-fund Planned Parenthood due to their unscrupulous practices, St. Lucie County taxpayers continue to give hundreds of thousands of dollars every year to the largest abortion provider in the U.S.

House votes to axe Federal tax dollars to Planned Parenthood: http://www.onenewsnow.com/Politics/Default.aspx?id=1297290

The St. Lucie County Children’s Services Council Taxing Authority (www.cscslc.org), continues to vote unanimously to give your tax dollars to Planned Parenthood.  Despite this difficult economy, Planned Parenthood received $500,000 in 2010-11.  The local running total is over $3 million to date.

Just look at this list of activities that Planned Parenthood has been caught engaging in:

Please contact these local officials who sit on the St. Lucie County Children’s Services Council Taxing Authority board today and demand they stop funding Planned Parenthood with your tax dollars again this year:

1.    Paula Lewis, County Commissioner    LewisP@stlucieco.org (Up for re-election in 2012)
2.    Kathryn Hensley, School Board Member HensleyK@stlucie.k12.fl.us (Up for re-election in 2012)
3.    Garry Wilson, Undersheriff   GWilson@stluciesheriff.com
as well as  Sean Boyle, the non-voting Director of the Children’s Services Council Taxing Authority  sboyle@cscslc.org .

Cut and Paste Sample email:

Please do not use my tax dollars to fund programs run by Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the U.S.  They are clearly a corrupt organization and don’t deserve our tax dollars.

Vigil for Victims at Planned Parenthood Today!

Vigil For Victims at Planned Parenthood Today!

As you have hopefully heard on O’Reilly and other news shows, Planned Parenthood has been involved in covering up sex trafficking. Pro-lifers have none for years that P.P. not only killed babies and harmed women, but covered up sex crimes. Now our brothers and sisters who are fighting sex trafficking realize this and are calling for a “Vigil For Victims” at all Planned Parenthoods today, Valentine’s Day, at noon. Let’s support those fighting human trafficking in the effort to defund PP. Please read below about our local Vigil For Victims.

This Monday: Planned Parenthood at 1322 NW Federal Highway, just North of the Roosevelt Bridge in Stuart

Please Park in empty lot north of the Empress Plaza on the west side of US1

Noon-1pm Bring your own signs.

Oak Harbor Cancels Planned Parenthood Fund Raiser!

Planned Parenthood Picket

Planned Parenthood Picket

Two days ago, we informed you that Oak Harbor in Vero Beach had booked a fund raising event by Planned Parenthood. The event was scheduled for Feb. 11 from 6 – 9 PM. Oak Harbor was the only club in the Vero Beach area to have booked PP a second time. We pledged that it would be their last! We planned to picket the fundraiser.

I am pleased to announce that an Oak Harbor representative called me today to let me know that the event has been canceled! Perhaps they heard that over 300 prolifers recently marched from the abortion mill in Ft Pierce to City Hall! Praise God! You are impacting our community!

The picket was planned and promoted by Tom & Ginny Frederick and was promoted by several prolife individuals and Sanctity of Human Life of the Treasure Coast (SOHL) through its e-mail list, website, and Twitter account, where it has over 48,000 followers. Since the fundraising event for Planned Parenthood has been canceled, the picket has also been canceled. Please use the extra time to raise money for Care Net’s Walk for Life which will be held tomorrow. CareNet is a prolife pregnancy center that offers free help and assistance to women in crisis pregnancy situations.

Planned Parenthood Fundraiser Protest, Vero Beach, FL

Once again Oak Harbor in Vero Beach has booked a fund raising event by Planned Parenthood. It is scheduled for Feb. 11 from 6 – 9 PM. As far as we know, Oak Harbor is the only club in the Vero Beach area to have booked PP a second time. It will be their last! The pro-life community must turn out in force to protest this event. Please calendar and make plans today. Forward this note to any pro-life friends you have that would be inclined to demonstrate.

Please arrive in front of Oak Harbor on Indian River Blvd. in Vero Beach at 5:45 PM on Feb. 11th. Nearby parking has been arranged at St. Mark’s Anglican Church located about 200 ft. west of Indian River Blvd. on 45th Street. It is a small gothic church where there is plenty of parking. Walk across Indian River Blvd. and go about 200 ft North to the front of Oak Harbor. Instructions on where to stand will be given at your arrival.

Date: This Friday Feb. 11th – We expect to be there for about an hour.

Time: Gather at 5:45 pm

Place: Oak Harbor-Indian River Blvd., Vero Beach

Reason: PP largest committer of abortion, perverter of youth, funded by our tax dollars!

Tom, please provide actual street address for GPS routing and mapping and also a phone contact.

For those traveling from the South counties, go North on U.S. 1 and turn right on Indian River Blvd. (marker: McKee Gardens on right) and continue North for about three miles or so. 45th Street is well marked where you will turn left for parking at the church.
Signs will be available, but we need MULTIPLE, tailored, new ones for this event. Themes as follows IN BOLD LETTERING:

Breaking News: Ambulance Takes Woman From Ft Pierce Abortion Clinic with Sheet Over Her

Saturday morning, February 5, 2011, an ambulance was called to A Woman’s World Medical Center, in Ft Pierce to take one of the clients to the Lawnwood Hospital Emergency Room. Medical personnel held a sheet over the mom as she was placed in the ambulance. It is not known what happened or the condition of the patients (mom and baby), but it is believed that the victim was Caucasian. We will keep you posted if we learn anything, and an e-mail with some photos of the ambulance, etc. will follow.

A Woman’s World is the only abortion clinic in the tri-county area and has received numerous violations from the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. A Woman’s World Medical Center along with Pregnancy Care Medical Center, was featured in the recent HBO documentary 12th and Delaware. A Woman’s World Medical Center was also the location where  more than 300 prolife citizens on the Treasure Coast gather for the first annual Treasure Coast March for Life January 22.

Jim Thoma, who witnessed the paramedics cart the mother into the ambulance, commented “It’s important for people to see how dangerous abortions are for the woman, especially at A Woman’s World where they have been consistently sited for being in violation of health codes when inspected. Please pray for the mother and that this will help shut A Woman’s World down!”
